HISTORY OF THE VILLAGE CLUB

The Village Club, originally named the Welcome Wagon Newcomers of Lincolnshire, began in 1974 with the purpose of welcoming new women to Lincolnshire.  Through a variety of events and activities, these women took an active role in the civic, social and spiritual welfare of the community.

In 2008, The Village Club expanded membership to include all women within the School District 103 boundaries. And most recently, in an effort to make a positive impact on the broader community, The Village Club added a philanthropic component, which includes creating awareness and fundraising for a different cause each year.
